We shook this city
To the center of the earth
It will come back again
Not the same as before
But with its shackles unshackled
Achey breaky hearts shaking
Shuddering, shimmering
Beating much too hard
The smoking room is filled
To full capacity
you have to be thrilled
with the city’s tenacity
Ants! So many ants and flies!
Fi! A curse on those who try
To tell you everything is OK
By the Bye
Goodbye Shaky City, Hello New Christ-church
Sharks and looters leave you in the lurch
Kerb-stomp you when you’re down
Kicking like the mules they are, in the middle of the town
